Itineraries
Places and events not to be missed
Hotel Monza e Brianza Palace is located in Cinisello Balsamo, on the outskirts of Milan, in a strategic position to move among the many itineraries and events offered by the surrounding area.
Villa Reale of Monza
The Villa Reale in Monza, with its beautiful gardens and pond, is a place of great beauty and culture where you can visit the opulent apartments for a step back in time, the exhibitions set up inside, or relax by strolling through the paths of the Park, which holds the record as Europe’s largest enclosed Urban Park.
There is also access to the Niso Fumagalli Rose Garden, a relaxing green area that hosts a beautiful flower show in spring, and the Serrone, an additional space used as a museum.
Center of Monza
The city of Monza is reminiscent of a beautiful medieval village in which it is possible to breathe in an almost old-world atmosphere-a perfect blend of past and present. Beautiful period buildings coexist with modern stores and bars, which enliven the entire old town.
Monza is an ideal destination for an out-of-town trip and offers several attractions including the Duomo, with its Museum and Treasure, the Park and Villa Reale, the Civic Museums and the Mimumo – Micro Museum of Monza. From our hotel it is possible to reach the center of Monza by public transportation.
Monza Racetrack
The Monza Racetrack is only 7 km from the Monza e Brianza Palace Hotel, which is an ideal location for watching the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the many events held within the circuit, from international car races to rallies and motorcycle competitions
At major events, contacting our hotel will provide customized rates for sports teams and groups.
Milan
Milan is considered the capital of Italian fashion, design and economy, and in just a few years it has gone from being considered a gateway city to one of the most visited cities in Italy, thanks in part to its deeply European identity and prominent events such as Milan Fashion Week and the Salone del Mobile.
In Milan we suggest not to miss the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, La Scala Theater, Castello Sforzesco with Sempione Park, Pinacoteca di Brera, the Fashion Quadrilateral, Navigli, Bosco Verticale and City Life.
Como
Como is a beautiful town that overlooks the shores of the lake, famous for being the setting for the opera “I Promessi Sposi” (The Betrothed) and characterized by small villages full of charm, such as Bellagio, Varenna and Brunate, from which it is possible to take the funicular railway to observe Como from above.
From our hotel it is easily accessible by car or train, starting from Monza Railway Station.
Lecco
Lecco lies on the lake of the same name and is a pleasant escape from the city. The center offers beautiful typical places to stop for a meal or a drink on the lakefront.
During warmer season it is also possible to take advantage of the small beaches to enjoy the sun.
From our hotel it is possible to reach Lecco by train (from Monza Station) or by car (following SS36/Lake Como and Spluga State Road, direction Lecco, Ospedale-Valsassina Exit).
Bergamo
The city of Bergamo is a jewel on two levels: the modernity of the Lower Town and the ancient splendor of the Upper Town, which can be reached on foot, by car, or by funicular railway.
Bergamo offers alleys, squares and views that are hard to forget.
It can be reached from our hotel either by train (leaving from Monza station) or by car (following the A4 Milan-Venice highway, Bergamo exit).
